Splendour in the Grass have dropped their hotly anticipated lineup for 2015, confirming many of the earlier rumoured and leak acts that were alleged to be making the trip to Australia in July 2015.
Blur will be touring in support of their eighth studio album The Magic Whip, which is due out in two weeks time.
Digging deeper through the Splendour in the Grass lineup and you’ll find all sorts of goodness. From alt. country legend Ryan Adams to Johnny Marr of The Smiths fame. With a smattering of acts from just about every genre and style of music you can think of, Splendour once again cements its place in Australian festivals as not just a who’s who of Triple J’s playlists, but as a rounded festival that’s not afraid to branch out and give its core audience of 20-somethings something a little different, and a bit more challenging.
Provided of course they venture away from the core staples of more predictable Splendour in the Grass artists like The Wombats or Peking Duck.
Splendour in the Grass takes place 24-26 July, 2015 at the North Byron Parklands. Tickets are on sale Thursday, April 23.
