Carus Thompson is back with his fourth album, ‘Caravan’. He’s now dropped te first single from the album, capturing the artist’s live on the road.
You Can’t Find Me is the first single from Carus Thompson’s forthcoming album Caravan, which is set for release this April through MGM. A straight up rocker that captures the energy of his live show, the single speaks of Carus’ adventures over the last year and the strangeness of life on the road. From being accosted by a “psycho on the sidewalk” in London, the foolishness of taking mushrooms on your own in Amsterdam and just the general “back against the wall” mentality that Thompson has felt with the making of this album.
Says Thompson of the album: “Whilst I made Caravan I was really thinking about my personal journey as an artist. I’ve been writing songs since I was 12 years old. That’s 22 years now. I’ve been playing in pubs since I turned 18 and I’ve been touring pretty much non-stop over the past 12 years. So on the album there is definitely a undercurrent of desperation. I’ve fought hard to get here and I’ve fought hard to be able to keep doing this. Not to complain, I also feel very lucky to be able to make my living out of music, but it has not been an easy road that’s for sure.”
