Today, we give you Black Mountain, Vancouver's five-piece psychedelic troupe set to release new album, 'Wilderness Heart' on American label Jagjaguwar (home to Dinosaur Jr) through Inertia on September 17. Playing a brand of music taking influence from the psychedelic movements in the late 60's through to the offshoots of psychedlia in 1970's rock, Black Mountain provide a retrospective brand of music that never screams to be taken as such. It has all the hallmarks of the trade with Deep Purple/Zeppelin-esque keys behind fuzzed guitars and the occasional synth moment carrying the vocals of Stephen McBean.
