Ben Harper's Fistful of Mercy

Joining forces with singer-songwriters Joseph Arthur and Dhani Harrison, Ben Harper has unveiled Fistful of Mercy. Few details have been made available; the first glimpses of the enigmatic supergroup being the release of their first music video.

Harper of course fronted the Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, gaining considerable worldwide success, particularly in Europe and here in Australia, before switching gears in 2008 to pursue a heavier rock sound with The Relentless7.

Harrison is the son of George Harrison and a burgeoning musician in his own right, with his own word-number band thenewno2.

Joseph Arthur has been recording and releasing records since the mid-90s since being signed to Peter Gabriel's record label.

The three make up Fistful of Mercy, and have today dropped their first video, a curious theme song with a decidedly Crowded House feel to it.
