The Beautiful Girls release 10:10

Ahead of the release of 'Spooks' and a mammoth national tour to support the album, genre-hopping band The Beautiful Girls have released their second single, 10:10, featuring Vida-Sunshyne.

Spooks is out May 21st, and in the meantime fans can get their hands on the latest single 10:10 digitally.

The Beautiful Girls descibe the latest single in simple terms: "a song in the tradition of some of those that inspired us most. The Specials. The Beat. The Clash. Punk English Reggae.

"The Story of the archetypal rude boy - 'Rudy' being gunned down in a club for being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong skin. The time was 10:10."

10:10 features Vida-Sunshyne, a friend of the band of Ghanaian descent. Vida, who has worked with Australian hip hop acts such as Astronomy Class and producer Chasm, has an undeniable presense both in person and on this record.

The single features the B-side Dubstep70, an instrumental produced by TBG's bassist PaulieB.

10:10 is available digitally now. Spooks is in stores May 21st and TBG are on the road from June 2 for a string of dates around the country.
