Calexico Headline Alt-Country Supershow

Coming to Australian shores for the first time in years, American alt-country masterminds Calexico are headlining several nights of tex-mex alt-country rock alongside Wagons, The Fumes and Depedro.

Talk about value for money. It was easy enough to get excited about Calexico's own touring show when it was announced a few months ago alongside the line-ups for Golden Plains and WOMADelaide...but now this. With Australian bluegrass supremo's Wagons, hard-arsed alt-rockers The Fumes and Spanish influences tex-mex newcomer Depedro on board, the touring party becomes significantly more interesting.

This shapes up as a touring mini-festival, one which there is no doubt that you should not be missing if you're giving half a chance of coming within twenty k's of these venues. Calexico's Australian tour-dates are as follows, with the aforementioned super-show constrained to the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne shows.
