Located just 45 minutes from Canberra in the stunning mountain setting of Corin Forest, Corinbank is an annual award-winning, immersive, music, arts and adventure festival.

Corinbank 2009's lineup features festival favourites Blue King Brown, The Beautiful Girls' frontman Mat McHugh in his only festival appearance of his debut solo tour, Darren Hanlon, Resin Dogs Sound System and a host of other diverse and talented musicians.

Corinbank is an all-ages event with under 16s admitted free.

At Corinbank you can:
 • Enjoy a mountain bike adventure to Gibraltar Falls;
 • Cool off in the 110m waterslide;
 • Catch a yoga class on the banks of Gibraltar pond;
 • Take a wildlife and bug tour;
 • Join in workshops on percussion, songwriting, guitar tricks and a bunch more;
 • Perform in the festival choir or the Chai tent chalk board sessions; and
 • Be part of the program by offering your own Creative Campsites.

Corinbank’s music program includes national and international acts with a high proportion of Canberra acts.  Artistic director Mark Bradley says “Canberra’s independent music scene is rich and diverse with a strong sense of community.  Including a high proportion of local indie acts on our bill has benefits for performers and audiences alike.  The bands can reach new audiences who may have been less likely to attend, or even know about their local gigs.  The audiences have a chance to appreciate new music from bands that are local and accessible to them.  And by playing alongside our national and international guests local acts can broaden their professional networks.  All these benefits help to build and sustain the local scene.”

While Corinbank offers an extensive program of entertainment and activities, they key to maximum festival enjoyment is to immerse yourself through participation.

The environmental friendliness of the 2008 festival saw Corinbank pick up two Keep Australia Beautiful Sustainability Awards.  In 2009 Corinbank’s Green Kulture will blossom from a collaborative idea and tent in 2008 to a full village with an amazing array of creative campsites run by over 30 participating community groups.

Corinbank was also awarded a Commendation for the Best Festival/Event category of the Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards. Not bad for a first year festival.
