Woodford Folk Festival 2006-07 in review
By Richard Wilson
With some punters arriving as early as Christmas Eve, Woodford officially kicks off annually on December 27 and continues with a never-ending programme for six days and six nights consisting of music, arts, workshops and an endless city of stalls to satisfy any interest or hunger.
A short 30 minute set from John Williamson kicked off the Woodford Folk Festival, paving the way for a lineup consisting of some of Australia's premier roots acts with the likes The John Butler Trio, The Beautiful Girls, Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald and Lior headlining the festival's two main stages.
