Label Guidelines

If you are a representative of an Australian/NZ record label, or an international label representing Australian/NZ artists, Soulshine can arrange for you to have access to multiple artist profiles. In certain circumstances (for major labels with many artists), Soulshine can provide a volunteer to help maintain your artist profiles.

Who Can Be Featured on Soulshine?

All artists covered on Soulshine must meet the following criteria:

Is the artist/band currently performing live gigs at venues and/or festivals around Australia/NZ?
Do they have a recording at marketable quality?
Are they based in Australia or New Zealand? For international artists, please read our Guidelines for International Artists.

Artist Profiles on Soulshine

Each artist profiled on Soulshine is entitled to include the following on their profile:

Artist bio with photograph
Mp3 files for download or streaming only
Gig listings

We can also arrange for:

News articles relating to the artist
Reviews of live gigs
Reviews of recorded material (album/EP, no singles please)
Artist interviews
Competitions / Giveaways of artist merchandise

What To Do

Email Emily Burton detailing:

Your contact details (full name, email address, contact telephone number)
Which label you represent
A list of Australian/NZ artists on the label
Please provide your Soulshine username. You can register for a Soulshine username here, or one will be assigned to you when you email.
Profiles will be created for each Australian/NZ artist on the label, and a link sent back to you. You will be able to log in and edit their artist profile at any time. Please note: by registering to use Soulshine, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use.
