Contribute to Soulshine

We are always keen to hear from talented writers and journalists who would like to contribute to Soulshine. If you have a strong interest in the independent music scene in Australia or New Zealand, good writing skills and would like to write about current music news and releases, please contact Emily Burton by email.

Soulshine has a number of photographers in each state who contribute to the music and festival galleries on site. Where possible, we organise media passes to gigs and festivals, to provide our photographers the best vantage points to shoot from. We are fortunate to have a high standard of photography on site, and our contributors are generally professional photographers with high quality equipment. Please note, all staff positions at Soulshine are currently volunteer-only!

Although Soulshine encourages submissions from young contributors, you must be 18 years or over to enter licensed premises, even as a reviewer or photographer. You will need to show photographic ID on entry as usual. Writers and photographers below 18 years of age will therefore be given opportunities to attend all-ages shows where available.
