Jaleos Flamenco are a Brisbane based ensemble that celebrate the fire and grace of the flamenco. Andrew Veivers, Simone Pope and their group bring dazzling footwork, intricate rhythms and raw energy together in a concert that encompasses the ancient richness of the traditional and the virtuosity of contemporary flamenco music and dance.

The Basics - The Hopetoun Hotel, Sydney (August 19th, 2008)

The Hopetoun hotel was alight with punter interest on a chilly winter’s Tuesday night as cherry-sweet Melbourne rockers, the Basics mingled with Sydney favourites, Cuthbert and the Nightwalkers. Soulshine’s Max Easton was on the scene to keep track.
