Information
The Falls Festival is held on a beautiful farm nestled in the Otway rainforest above Lorne and Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. The main arena is formed from a spectacular natural amphitheatre that is big enough to hold the whole crowd. It has a perfect gentle slope so you can relax up the back and still hear and see everything. A dense rainforest surrounds the venue and helps to create this incredible aural arena. There is even a super screen to make sure that you don’t miss a beat.
Camping
Camping is an integral part of The Falls Festival. Camp with your mates, get to know your neighbours, check out all the action at you door or just chill and enjoy the beautiful environment. Campsites are allocated on the day as you arrive and tents are pitched with your vehicle. Sorry, we can't reserve spots so either arrive at the same time as your buddies or embrace the festival spirit and make new friends out of your neighbours! The camping area is not powered but is fully serviced with toilets and showers, medical facilities, information booth and an event program. Event and band merchandise is available for purchase. There is a bus service to and from Lorne (check out Getting There for more info). Mobile phone reception half OK for those with telstra but worse than dodgy for others so make plans that don’t rely on people being able to call you and vice versa. There are no public phones on site but you can take the bus in to Lorne if you really need to touch base with the outside world. Bring enough cashola to see you through the festival, but again, you can duck into Lorne if you run out.
