Australia's premier World Music festival is back for 2009, delivering a line-up full of the names you know and the names you will know. Encompassing folk, blues, roots and musical stylings from every continent, Womadelaide's line-up is as full of intrigue as ever.

Each year Womadelaide announce a line-up that puzzles just as much as it excites. Womad combs the earth for some of the most phenomenal examples of world music available, throwing them in a box with local favourites and delivering a package that is guaranteed to please. 2009's line-up is as follows:
