On an Elysian Vibe..
Article by Em
Soulshine quick-fire reviews the latest addition to the Elysian Vibes series from One World Music.

It’s easy to pass over a chill out compilation, but passing over this one would be a big mistake. Unlike others, Elysian Vibes 4 is no elevator music.

‘Unity in Diversity’ is the One World Music tagline, and it fits. Featuring tracks like Module’s ‘Twilight Stolen’, Amanaska’s ‘Drift’ and a great Thievery Corporation remix, Elysian Vibes is a divine collection of rich cultures, blending western and eastern influences.

This is a gentle, easy-going album which makes a great soundtrack for any lazy day. Finishing up with an upbeat slide through DJ Disse’s original take on ‘Walk on the Wild Side’, Elysian Vibes heralds a new level of chill-out. Whether you love the stuff or you’re only ever going to buy one album as background for dinner parties: this is it.
