Australia welcomes Xavier Rudd’s return with sales of his new “White Moth” album featuring the chart topping single “Better People”, reaching Gold status! After selling out shows in Brisbane (over 18’s), Byron Bay, Sydney and Melbourne, due to popular demand, Xavier has added a string of extra dates to the ‘White Moth’ tour schedule with tickets to new shows in Byron Bay, Sydney and Melbourne on sale now!

The past months have had Xavier performing to sell out crowds in some of NA and Europe’s legendary venues including; NY’s Highline, San Diego’s House of Blues, Chicago’s Park West, Denver’s Gothic Theater, Seattle’s Show Box, Victoria’s Royal Theatre,  Brussels Ancienne Belgique, Falmouth Princess Pavillion, Amsterdam’s Paradiso…

More international news has Xavier creating the sound score for Matthew McConaughey's j.k. livin' Production "Surfer, Dude" starring Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson and Willie Nelson. Sharing both a love for music and surfing Matthew and Xavier are collaborating to create a score that, McConaughey says, "will merge the sounds of mother nature with a fusion of Xavier's quiver of instruments, along with other traditional Latin and African sounds."

"When I was first turned on to Xavier’s music, I didn't say "who" is that, I said "what" is that and I was instantly addicted to the sound and message.  He's one of the most original artists in music today, and the score he lays down, like our film, will be anything but typical." The film will be released in the spring or summer of 2008.

While back home in Australia Xavier will be recording a live performance for Live at the Chapel and attending the ARIA’s on October 28, 2007 for his nomination for Best Blues and Roots Album.

Xavier will continue his White Moth tour into 2008 with tours to China, Japan, SE Asia, South Africa and continue on through the summer European Festival circuit.
